Intex launched another of its budget smartphones back in January 2017 by the name of . After the launch of Cloud Q11 back in September, its latest variant now comes with 4G VoLTE support. Apart from that, what all are the specifications, pros and cons of buying this phone, let’s find out.
Intex Cloud Q11 4G weighs a decent and apart from being a bit bulky, is a pretty handy smartphone to carry. The positioning of the volume and power key on the right and a ‘silent’ toggle switch on the left is well optimised for single-handed usage of the phone.
The Cloud Q11 4G comes with a . The display carries a resolution of 720 x 1280 Pixels at 229 PPI. Overall result? The phone’s display gives a fair enough performance with a bright and clear display. It carries ample colours and contrasts and at maximum brightness, the smartphone can be well used under sunlight.

To ensure the prolonged usage of the device at any given brightness, Intex has powered the Cloud Q11 4G with a . The battery gives more than enough juice for the device to last through a day’s work, even at very heavy usage, e.g. while playing games and watching videos. At optimal usage, it can even clock 36 hours of use at one charge.
Since there is no ‘Fast-Charge’ option on the phone, it takes some time to get fully charged.
The phone has limited but handy in-built functions like Accessibility features, Emergency Rescue and Touch Panel Gesture mode.
Intex Cloud Q11 4G runs on . Though this means not having the latest Android Nougat version, the Marshmallow works well for the device. The device sports a simple Android UI which is in sync with the performance and overall look and feel of the Cloud Q11 4G.
The point worth mentioning here is that the smartphone is . The phone comes boxed in a . Simple alterations to the box convert it into a VR headset which can then house the phone to play any VR videos or movies.
Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 3.5mm headphone jack placed at the top of the phone.

The Cloud Q11 4G sports a similar built as the Intex Aqua 5.5 VR. So much so, that it is difficult to differentiate between the phones at one go. The phones rank very much similar in terms of their specifications as well.
Intex could have improved on this as the plastic body of the phone does not look very promising on strength-scale. The phone comes with an external plastic case and a screen guard, the combined use of which should be able to protect the phone from simple damages.
The with the Cloud Q11 4G is limited to 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Out of the 8GB internal storage, 4.41GB is used by the system itself. This leaves you with a mere 3.59GB of internal storage capacity in the phone.
This much memory is not even enough to download the list of most used social media apps like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Whatsapp and more, let alone any games or other apps.
It is recommended to tap into the expandable memory option using an external microSD.
On top of this, the device comes with a set of pre-installed apps powered by Intex. The downside is that these apps cannot be uninstalled even if you have no use for them. At that point, these apps just become more unwanted memory occupants.
Intex Cloud Q11 4G houses a . This, combined with the 1GB RAM cannot guarantee a power-packed performance by the device. While in regular use the smartphone seems to perform fairly well, delayed touch response, lags and other such performance depreciators can be experienced every now and then.

On the camera front, Intex Cloud Q11 4G sports an . The camera works well to capture average snaps. Yet it has nothing more to offer than that. The same goes for its .
The pictures clicked through the cameras lack details and the clear and crisp output that one would expect out of a good camera. Supportive features like ‘Anti-Blur’ and ‘Low-light photography’ are absent.
Both the cameras do come with Flash support and Face Beauty Mode though.
Bottomline, while one cannot gain an Instagram following using these cameras, they can be used for an average snap having no ‘photographic’ importance to it.

Intex Cloud Q11 4G caters to the most basic smartphone range i.e. the capabilities of the smartphone match a user with most basic needs. This includes calls, messages and connectivity through various platforms like Whatsapp and Facebook.
The smartphone is not an ideal buy for people with heavy app use, camera requirements and/or for pro-gaming. For those who have used an Intex device earlier, like the Intex Aqua 5.5 VR, this smartphone has nothing new to offer.
That being said, Cloud Q11 4G can easily be one’s first attempt at Virtual Reality and 4G connectivity based on its budget price of Rs 5,499.
