ASX-listed digital advertising firm Tech Mpire has got a new CEO, former Google executive Lee Hunter.
The tech company, which was founded by Perth young rich lister Zhenya Tsvetnenko, serves a middleman between advertisers and affiliates, with advertisers only paying when a ‘goal’ is achieved, like a sale.
Mr Hunter, who had senior roles at both Google and YouTube, replaces Luke Taylor who will become Chief Technology Officer.
“I’m very excited about the prospect of leading Tech Mpire and taking the business to the next level,” Mr Hunter said in a statement.
“I see enormous growth potential in the company, especially as we expand into new markets and evolve the benefits of our unique technology.
“I’m 100 per cent committed to the continued development of our teams across the world, and driving sustained value for our advertisers, partners and particularly our shareholders.”
Tech Mpire Chairman Stephen Belben, said the change in leadership reflects the ambitious goals we have for the company as it pursues global growth.
“The experience Lee brings from working with tech giants, Google and YouTube, will be invaluable to the management and direction of Tech Mpire,” he said.
“We are delighted to welcome Lee to the team in the prime leadership role and we are looking forward to further leveraging his experience to help grow Tech Mpire.”
