Bose SoundSport Wireless Review: Delivers Great Sound Sans Pesky Wires

The times when you feel the need to cut off from your surroundings and chaos. That is when Bose SoundSport wireless comes to your rescue. It just lets the sound in and cuts off other sounds even in pretty noisier environments.

The right ear of SoundSport accommodates the power button and the charging port. One has to make sure that their mobile phone’s Bluetooth is on, and that is all. Also, there is the NFC pairing via the headphone’s in-line remote. On the in-line remote, there is a button, which lets you adjust the music volume, skip tracks, and well, answer calls too.

We are used to expecting a fantastic design, great audio quality, and overall a fantastic product when it comes to Bose. Does the Bose SoundSport wireless tick the right boxes and is it worth buying? Here is our review.

As expected, the audio quality of the SoundSport wireless headphones is fantastic. The Bluetooth connection on this one was more stable than what most other wireless headphones offer. Also, this one has NFC and lets you (on certain Bluetooth devices) just tap them to the headphones and it will connect.

Bose SoundSport wireless headphones are sweat and water resistant and are pretty comfortable to wear. A pair of small, medium and large ear tips are also provided alongside that lets you choose the perfect fit for your ears.

Another good thing is that the ear tips do not completely seal off the ear canals and thus we could hear some ambient noise. Everybody, however, may not like this thing.

The battery life of SoundSport wireless headphones is decent too. It was worth over five and a half hours of music playback on a single charge. Having said that, the standby time is between five to six days.

In terms of sound quality, the Bose SoundSport is quite incredible. The sound delivered had a rich bass and crisp treble.

Another noteworthy feature is that the headphones did not fall out of our ears easily. The easy setup also gets a thumbs up from our side. Being water and dust resistant, these headphones can endure moisture torture.

The battery backup, at around six hours, is not long lasting. The ear tips could have been more discreet; they protruded pretty far from my ear. Also, the SoundSport headphones are slightly expensive for what is being offered.

A good buy if you are looking for a good quality audio playback with sweat and dust resistance. Also, the Bose SoundSport can be a perfect partner for your workout sessions or quick jogs. It currently retails at Rs 13,275.
